After years of keeping crafty journals and almost 10 years developing web sites, I figured it was finally time to meld my two passions. This site is essentially a translation of my journals, which contain everything from photos and sketches, to collages and stickers, and perhaps most importantly, pages and pages of crafty ideas and concepts.

About me

I’m nniiccoollee, and I’m a web designer for a liberal arts college in Michigan. When I’m not working for the college, I run a web design business specializing in non-profit web sites. When I’m not in front of the computer (and sometimes when I am) I’m making something. In fact, I look at most every activity in life as an opportunity to incorporate creativity.

Other stuff you should know

• I’m picky about what I like in design, and I like to think I have good taste (but of course that’s all relative).
• I’m into cheap, and wherever possible recycled, stuff.
• I am very into music and it’s a big part of my life (although I don’t make music).
• I’m socially and politically active because I believe these are important ideals, and I feel a sense of obligation to contribute.
• In real life, I smoke and cuss like a truck-driver, but I’ll try to keep it in check here.
• I dance while I clean and I talk to myself.
